EMOTIVE Workshop – 31st May 2013

Loughborough University’s Department of Information Science is hosting a half-day workshop on Friday, 31st May 2013 at the Bridgeman Building.

This event will revolve around issues such as monitoring social media and overcoming obstacles, the future of monitoring social media, various alternative methods for detecting emotions; in particular our DSTL/ EPSRC funded project: EMOTIVE (Extracting the Meaning of Terse Information in a Geo-Visualisation of Emotion). This event will host a range of national organisations in the fields of information science, security, and defence; bringing together academics and industry experts.
